A fine example of the Goddard-Townsend expression of the Chippendale style from Newport, Rhode Island. This four poster bed with open claw foot and stop fluted upper post make this a fine example of early American craftmanship. Shown in mahogany, king size with a modified flame finial.

Available in any size in maple with stained or painted finish and in tiger maple, cherry or mahogany in a natural or stained finish.

Each bed is based on an antique bed design and individually built to your specifications in our shop with your choice of headboard, rails, mattress support and finials where appropriate.
