This is the same hardware I use on my beds. I also offer 14 pitch bed bolts for antique replacement bolts. Although 14 threads per inch was the most common bed bolt thread take a look at some examples of original bed bolts for examples of other threads used. You might be intersted to take alook at some antique bed wrenches as well.

Bed Bolt Wrench, WRB-3

Bronze bed bolt wrench that fits 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" square head bed bolts. This wrench is similar to a cast iron wrench produced in the 1930's.

Turned Straining Wrench, Spanish Windlass or Bed Key

Our hand made straining wrench is used for tightening the ropes on rope beds. This wrench is turned and slotted to jam the rope. See the instructions for roping a bed to see how it is used.

Riven Straining Wrench, Spanish Windlass or Bed Key

These bed irons or box spring brackets are made to screw to the inside of the rail and support the box spring. They come in various lengths to suit your particular bed and bedding. Supplied with 1 1/2" wood screws.
