Turned Pencil Post, PT-1
HEIGHT: 80'', 203cm
ca. 1760-1780

The original of this Pennsylvania bed was shown in an Antiques Magazine advertisement in the fall of 1979. Termed the "Brides's Bed", it was painted white and is quite rare with its unusual turned pencil posts. The original had a footboard which is uncommon for a bed of this period. Shown here in curly maple, it can also be ordered in plain maple or in cherry. The footboard and tester frame is optional. In any mattress size or spring styles.
